If Shadowbringers is the victory, then Endwalker is the victory lap. It immediately resumes the buildup from SB and doesn't let up once. From the beginning, you can tell that this is the end, and I think that that is one of the reasons why endwalker is so good. You can tell it's slowly building up to the climax and plays with your expectations, mainly by getting rid of the main big bad so early on. You're still left with this sense of intrigue for where the story is going without it being disappointing, and they do a fantastic job of introducing the actual big bad and letting the story play out. It's also in part a tribute to FFXIV as a whole, and the final area does a fantastic job of celebrating the journey before it (I cried, a lot). They also end it with both a power of friendship cutscene and a final fight with the guy who's obsessed with you, you get to punch him, it's fun.

My favorite normal raid series, Anabaseios: The Eleventh Circle is my favorite out of all of them (burst into tears when the music started playing im ngl).
